After serving faithfully in many capacities at New Jerusalem International Christian Ministries in Richmond, Virginia, Elders Wayne and Felicia Dixon were commissioned by God to pastoral ministry and became the founding pastors of Words of Life Ministries (a non-denominational house of worship) in Chesterfield County. Chief Apostle Olive C. Brown, presiding prelate of International Christian Ministries and founding pastor of New Jerusalem ICM, having received confirmation to this call gave her blessing, and consecrated and charged these ordained elders to this great work.

Elder Wayne D. Dixon is the founder and senior pastor of Words of Life Ministries. He has served in this capacity since September 2002 when the ministry was birthed. Pastor Wayne is a powerful intercessor who is endowed with the gift of prophecy and has a heart of love and compassion for those who are in distress (with particular attention to youth). He seeks to change lives by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and extending invitations for all to experience the greatness of God's love.

Pastor Wayne has a strong commitment and intense passion for outreach and evangelism. He is determined to make Christ a necessary component of his every day living as he strengthens believers through the practical preaching and teaching of God's Word. His humble spirit and genuine concern for the people of God endear him to diverse audiences and multiple ethnicities.

Christ, in the scriptures, was moved with compassion when He saw the varied needs of the people. Inspired by this, Elder Wayne desires to stay connected with Christ to ensure that he speaks a WORD in season to him that is weary (Isaiah 50:4), and through Jesus Christ eliminate the distress of those who are oppressed.

Elder Felicia F. Dixon is the co-founder and co-pastor of WOLM. She has been a faithful servant in the ministry since its inception. Elder Felicia thrives on reading, studying and teaching the Word of God. She loves to pray and is an evangelist, teacher and psalmist who flows under a life-changing, purpose-realizing anointing. She is also an author in the process of publishing two books.

Co-pastor Felicia believes in the spirit of excellence both spiritually and naturally. Her exemplary performance at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is currently earning a degree in Religious Studies, resulted in an invitation to join the National Honor Society (with the highest distinction) and an invitation to attend VCU's honor college.

Together, Pastors Wayne and Felicia are committed to ministering salvation to those who are lost, eliminating the distress of those who are oppressed and raising the level of consciousness among mankind regarding:

God's preordained purpose for our lives
the effects and affects of our spoken words
our eternal home

The Dixons are happily married and will be celebrating 20 years of marriage in October of this year. Their God-inspired union has been blessed with three beautiful daughters (Tynisha, DaRayl and LaVon) who assist them in ministry.
